Website – Trade & Invest
Trade & Invest is a website I quickly did when applying for a FinTech role back in 2021, after I was told that their only concern was that I had no previous experience on the financial market and specifically trading & brokerages. So, I decided to showcase my ability to learn and show that I’ve learned the topics needed thoroughly with the help of a website in which I effectively learn by teaching others.
After a week of listening to several audio books on Crypto and trading, I was comfortable to create my first dozen articles in which I showcased my understanding of basic and more in-depth trading terminology.
I have since in late December 2022 started to update the content and add more articles and broker comparisons on the page, with the help of an Artificial Intelligence, to see whether if it is possible to generate enough organic traction for the website with small effort.
My plan is to continue building the content and generate the bulk of the written copy with the help of an Artificial Intelligence, but over time fine-tune and optimise the content for search engines in hopes of being able to generate enough organic traffic. If the articles start to gain traction, I will be putting more effort on the visual side of the website and turning it into an affiliate website for additional income.

Research
One of the key takeaways from tradeandinvest.co.uk is my ability to quickly research and deep dive into any topic, and my ability to thoroughly research any subject and produce content based off of my findings. This is ability is extremely helpful in real life and in my work, as this can be easily applied to and taken advantage of when launching new products, conducting market research, or when changing industries.

Design
The website was created fully by myself, using freely available stock imagery. I used Avada theme to set up the website on WordPress, and for the sake of quickly generating blog content for learning (and teaching) about trading, the fully functional website was created in less than two days.
Artificial
Intelligence
Even though the ‘Short Explanations’ of the trading and investing terminology and some pieces of content were written by myself fully as a part of the learning process, I have since generated thousands of words and ten full articles in less than an hour, and I will continue to take advantage of Artificial Intelligence to generate content for this website.
The key purpose of this is to be able to see and determine if AI is a viable tool for a marketer in generating content. First, I will focus on the copy and the written side of content whilst making use of an AI to save my own time drastically, but I will eventually replace all stock photos for the blogs with imagery I will also be generating with the help of an Artificial Intelligence.
Can-Do
Attitude
Even though this website was originally just created for the sole purpose of applying for a single role, I’d like to think that this showcases my determination and can-do attitude. I am extremely proud of my professional drive and ability to dedicate all of my ability to produce the results that I want.
Although no guaranteed returns for the effort put in, I decided to spend almost two full weeks in learning everything that was needed and invest my time in creating a functional website that would showcase my abilities.
(I ended up choosing a different role though in the end, but at least I learned more about trading and investing!)
